OUR HISTORY We are more than just than just a supplier—we are innovators and leaders in the field of steel flange, and fitting manufacturing. Our legacy dates back 40 years (since 1985), during which our founder Tom Watson together with our international partners have been instrumental in the creation of top-quality products and brands such as MG Flanges, APCO Weld Fittings, APCO Forged Steel fittings, and TFF fittings. Our long-standing history is built on an unwavering commitment to quality assurance, fast delivery, and reliability. A word about our new Name and Brand
We remain family-owned and Alberta, Canada-controlled, supplying forged steel flanges, fittings, valves, seamless and welded pipe, and malleable iron pipe fittings through partnerships established in the 1980s.The name Outrider Steel Inc. reflects our Western Canadian heritage and positions us for future growth.
An outrider rides ahead as a scout and advance guard, clearing the path into new territory. This captures our pioneering spirit: going first into China's steel sector when few dared, and continuing to lead from the front in Canada's industrial flange & pipe fitting sector, as well as internationally.
Our logo draws inspiration from the Three Sisters mountains of the Rockies mountains near Canmore, Alberta, Canada. These three peaks represent strength, unity, and enduring resilience: qualities that define our journey from pioneering beginnings to today.
Our tagline, FIRST IN. FIELD PROVEN., captures our history. "First In" recognizes our pioneering entry into China's steel sector in 1985. "Field Proven" reflects decades of reliable performance in demanding energy and infrastructure projects worldwide.
We continue to expand globally and diversify our product offerings while supporting the APCO brand, MG brand, and our newly established OS three peaks logo.
